December already?

Here in South Texas the weather is not typical winter weather. Today's high was 82. I can't understand how we are supposed to get in the Christmas spirit with this type of weather!
Christmas cards are starting to arrive. I have to get working and finish stamping all my cards or use store bought cards!! oh no!!

Panic sets in

Tomorrow Tim will be transitioning back to his old school after being at NCC for about a year. He is very nervous, and the panic is setting in. He is so very stressed. Everything is a cause for a temper tantrum. I know that it is just stress, but dang it, I am going to blow a fuse. I just hate to see him so upset and worried. I love him and hate to see him hurt.
On other fronts, I just don't want to go to school tomorrow. I have enjoyed my time off.
I am making a quilt. The pattern is similar to this using material that is reproductions of feed sack prints. I hope I do as well as this one. ;)

I haven't written for a while

I have not written in forever it seems like. I even forgot that I had a membership on Blogger! But I decided that it is good to write my feelings and thoughts down.
I am trying to enter Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame contest. So far I have 2 layouts that I am happy enoughwith to use. One is of Kelsey & Holly and the other is of Tim and his buddy Jake. I need to get more photos that are new and fun. I just don't take enough pictures. Or let me rephrase that - I don't print enough pictures. I am thinking that digital design would be cool, but my printer sucks. How would be best to print them out? How long do they last? Questions that control the desire to try.... ;)

don't read pass here unless you want TMI
I am in a mood today, my period started. I went off of the birth control, and well, my period started. I just had a period two weeks ago. This is such a bummer. But you know there is really no reason for me to be on birth control unless you count that I was on Seasonalle and didn't have them but once every three months. But the health risks are high, and I kinda got worried about it.
